Dr. Wiggen is a licensed clinical psychologist who received her degree from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She completed her internship at a juvenile correctional facility in Wisconsin and her postdoctoral training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Dr. Wiggen previously worked in corrections and currently has a private practice and contracts with outside agencies. She has worked extensively with adults and adolescents with difficult issues and diagnoses, such as PTSD, severe mental illnesses, depression, anxiety and personality disorders.
Dr. Wiggen's practice style is solution focused, cognitive behavioral therapy with an emphasis on collaborative relationships with clients.
Dr. Wiggen is a board member of the Sacramento Valley Psychological Association.
